Summer '09 will go down as an ultimately cool and rockin summer because we were able to spend time w/ our original family and with our new family. It was very cool to meet and spend time w/ Orges's family. They are not in any particular order.

Memphis Tribune-Although it's been a couple of days for the results to get to our sports desk, the official results of the Dad vs. Tyler arm wrestling competition are in.

Dad almost bested the top seed of the competition. But StrongManTyler, DaMan, finally outlasted Dad in a match that went on for nearly 20 minutes. Spectators standing close by hearding loud popping and crunching sounds as Tyler squeezed his opponents hand to a fraction of its original size.
A surgeon who specializes in hand-bone maladies was on hand and told this reporter that it will take weeks for the older of the two contestents to recover. (In a private conversation w/ Dad, it was overheard that he told Dad to eat lots of brats, pommes and to get a massage twice a week.)

Both contestents have vowed to return to the table stronger and more mentally disciplined.

The date for the next match has not been set yet.

Good luck to both as they prepare for what is being billed as the "next big event of the century."

we find out the gender of our little one 2 weeks from tomorrow (yay!!) anybody want to guess whether its a boy or girl? then maybe the people who guess wrong have to buy ice cream for the people who guess right. and for me.

Scattergories can be a very enlightening game. It reveals the intra-workings of how others think. Some (women) in this picture believe serotonin could not be (S)cattergorized as a breakfast food. Many psych patients might disagree. Serotonin was my "S" word for a breakfast food...it was summarily defeated, so I did not get a point for it. Just wait til next time!

i've been meaning to post this photo forever. it's our 1st ultrasound picture at 10 weeks, complete with brad's labels. hopefully i will have another one to post in about 4 more weeks & we can compare.
